How to Create a BetterNature Chapter.

Start by forming a small, committed leadership team. If your chapter is school-based, connect with your administration to understand any requirements for starting a student organization. This step ensures your chapter has the support and structure needed to create lasting impact.

Complete the BetterNature chapter application outlining your leadership team, goals, and initial project ideas. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis, and you’ll receive an update within 3-7 business days. We’re looking for passion, clarity of purpose, and a genuine commitment to sustainability—not perfection.

Selected chapters will be invited to a short virtual conversation with the BetterNature team. This is a chance to share your vision, ask questions, and explore how your chapter can best serve its community. We’ll also walk you through resources, branding, and next steps to help you launch confidently.
